Cold Water Rinse Kiss My Face Cool Mint Moisture Shave Cream Jayaruh #340 Badger AutoStrop VB1 GEM Blue Star SE CWR Osage Rub
The Kiss My Face Cool Mint Moisture Shave Cream face-lathered well with my Jayaruh #340 Badger Brush. Two passes and touch ups with the AutoStrop VB1 with a GEM Blue Star SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Osage Rub. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Just an OK shave. The G, brush, and Cella worked great but the Chick blade left something to be desired. It tugged quite a bit and left a couple weepers. Hopefully it will be a bit smoother second time around.

Nice shave. The Clog Pruf is always a pleasure to use. For me, it is perfectly balanced and very easy to maneuver without worrying about losing my grip and dropping it, something you think about as you grow older. The GEM blade came from one of those 10 blade black blade vaults. For me they are just as good as the Pellas. But I don’t use stainless blades all that much so what do I know. I prefer carbons. The ARKO worked well. I like the scent and the cooling effect. To me it’s not quite as protective as Williams or Cella but not to the point that I will not enjoy it. I pretty much use only Dickinson’s Witch Hazel. It seems a lot crisper and cleaner to me than most other brands. A lot of folks have told me that witch hazel is witch hazel and I must be nuts, but what else is new.

9nein9: To like or not to like the like button? That is the question. Our society thrives off the like button it seems . I'm not sure if I like it or I don't like it.Just kind of got used to it .

carlfrommo: Hey guys. Last minute question here. What shot size should I use for flying reindeer?
Dec 24, 2019 22:11:29 GMT -6
ordinaryshaver: You want to use 3 1/2 in magnum lead shot, in size T. Problem solved.

ordinaryshaver: No steel, too light and use an extra full choke, unless you have a good blind setup

carlfrommo: Well, last night was a failure. I had one shot, and I didn't lead the red-nosed one enough. I think I ended up shooting the driver. Might have gotten him in the leg. Hard to tell because he was wearing red pants and coat.

carlfrommo: He turned his sled away and landed on the roof two blocks down. Out of range for a second shot. I did notice he walked with a bit of a limp though. He shouldn't be coming in my yard anyway.

mrconklin: Last time I hunted waterfowl. 2 3/4 shells were standard and the cool kids were starting to play with the 3 inch, but most guns weren't made for them. Steel was also just starting to be mandated on Federal and State land.
