For us it was approx' 57% coverage of the sun. I set up my small 'scope and filter and it was worth doing. Years ago I used to observe the sun but grw tired of just seeing the disk. It was probably during the sunspot minimum part of the cycle. The other day I pushed the magnification a bit and saw 26 sunspots; many were just tiny pinpoints and I don't truly know if they are properly called a sunspot, but they were there and that's what drove the number so high. It was interesting to see the moon crawl across the face of the sun and even with just 1/2 of the disk covered the light was noticeably dimmer.
On April 8, 2024 I'll get a chance to experience another total eclipse if the weather is good. I did check the extended weather forecast and it's predicted to be cloudy with rain. Obviously I'm hoping that it's wrong. We're just outside the path of totality, but if I drive 1 1/2 hours north I'll be right in the path of totality. That's doable.

I tried to get it all down at one point in time, and I fancied myself as a knowledgeable guy on such stuff. But, between a sketchy memory, and all the endless variations of this style, and all the nicknames and chatter about them, I can barely tell a scratched one from a shiny one now!!
I think the Bird nailed down most of it pretty darn good though. Nicely done Bird. And, if you know any more please add it in, don't be chicken now!
(Besides, the guy ain't made a mistake since 1956!! Or was it 57 BL? )

Ayyyyyyy. I am not a fan of cuts. I have been very lucky so far and my accidents have been minimal, but I have had my share. And for sure, I have more than once slipped up because of not putting on glasses and assuming that a blade is in place correctly. I always try to take a proper look ever since - but as humans will be, I get sloppy and if there are no glasses around in the bathroom and I am in a rush.........
I am glad to hear though that your sunshine came back Fuzzy!
So I have been majorly distracted as of late. I had not shaved in over 5 days. So tonight I wanted to remedy that. I decided to see what Igor could do. He did not disappoint. DFS+ on 3 pass no touchup. I Eli every this might be a top contender for favorite shave.
It is great to see that beast in action!! Igor rules!
Williams Friday for me....Today I pulled out my Old Flame....The Hussy! And she did not hesitate to pamper my face into submission, and deliver as good a shave as I believe is possible...Absolutly BBS... I'm definitely developing a very exclusive top-tier of favorite razors...and The H Type Schick is definitely right there!
