Simpson Chubby 1 / Maggards 2band Williams Mug Soap Occams V2 / No3 plate Kai Captain Titan mild-Pink [ 1 ] Williams Aqua Velva A/S Lotion
The Occams on plate 3 has a significant amount of blade feel, and makes short work at clearing the stubble. I found the Kai blade to be better with this plate than the Proline which was rather threatening when working around the chin.
Cold Water Rinse Morning TOST Shaving Soap Jayaruh #18 Silvertip RazoRock Black Hawk Feather Professional CWR PSC Caffeinated AS
My prep was just a cold water rinse. The Morning TOST Shaving Soap face lathered well with the Jayaruh #18 Silvertip brush. I did two passes with the RazoRock Black Hawk razor with a Feather Professional blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with PSC Caffeinated AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
Schick Eversharp Lady Injector Schick Chinese blade - damn fine blade. I find it as good as the NOS that came with the razor which I think was a Schick platinum. Omega Boar Brush Williams Mug Soap Lucky Tiger Aspen AS
I don't know how and where you guys working on blade carriers are establishing an exposure setting but I'm really happy with where I am now. I wouldn't presume the bevel is identical between the Proline and stock so I think experimentation is worthwhile.
Now 3 Shaves in with the Occams fitted with its most aggressive plate. I am using the milder Kai blade. but there is still loads of blade feel, and a close all round Shave is accomplished very quickly.

Stirling shave #42--Gem Damaskeene OC with Gem SS blade, Stirling Glacial Spearmint, Semogue 830 boar, no AS can't cover this nice spearmint!!!! That ends my Stirling rotation as a sale and a trade has reduced my Stirling soaps by thirteen. I had 42 very lovely shaves in a row!!!

9nein9: To like or not to like the like button? That is the question. Our society thrives off the like button it seems . I'm not sure if I like it or I don't like it.Just kind of got used to it .

carlfrommo: Hey guys. Last minute question here. What shot size should I use for flying reindeer?
Dec 24, 2019 22:11:29 GMT -6
ordinaryshaver: You want to use 3 1/2 in magnum lead shot, in size T. Problem solved.

ordinaryshaver: No steel, too light and use an extra full choke, unless you have a good blind setup

carlfrommo: Well, last night was a failure. I had one shot, and I didn't lead the red-nosed one enough. I think I ended up shooting the driver. Might have gotten him in the leg. Hard to tell because he was wearing red pants and coat.

carlfrommo: He turned his sled away and landed on the roof two blocks down. Out of range for a second shot. I did notice he walked with a bit of a limp though. He shouldn't be coming in my yard anyway.

mrconklin: Last time I hunted waterfowl. 2 3/4 shells were standard and the cool kids were starting to play with the 3 inch, but most guns weren't made for them. Steel was also just starting to be mandated on Federal and State land.
