Thursday 17th August Semogue 620 OSP Fougere The General Feather Pro #4 Alum wash Electrif's Bay Rum Lacura Body Moisturiser Last use of the General for the time being. I've been so enamoured with this razor, some of my other razors have been neglected. This shave was spectacular, very easy and smooth - Smoosy. Have I ever said how much I like OSP soaps.

Shick Dial adjustable adjusted until the dial indicates "8" Shick blade (Chinese) Pure-badger brush Portland General Store's Tobacco shave soap with a few drops glycerine Pinaud Clubman Special Reserve
I have a wire beard that grows along my skin, and this combination is quite satisfactory.
"Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." — Jesus (Matthew 11:28)
SOAP: Williams BRUSH: Jayaruh 192 RAZOR: my SE adjustable creation. AS: Aqua Velva
This was my first shave with my newly created razor. I started out on the middle setting. Starting with 2 days growth. I laid the cap on my cheek and dropped down to make blade contact. It is a very quiet razor. I attribute that to it being secured very well.
I finished the first pass. I found this setting to be very comfortable. Lathered up for pass 2 and dialed it up all the way. Now we are talking. A more aggressive shave. I never felt that it was going to bite me.
Lathered for pass 3 and dialed it down all the way. Very mild shave. It easily went ATG on my upper lip. I do find this more mild than I prefer.
First impressions. The handle is of nice diameter to grip. I will add some groves for added grip for soapy hands. Head size is on the large size. Not overly so though. Using your standard 1912 shave techniques it easily gets your mustache area.
I did not find the angle to be bad at all. I will however make another razor with a lower head profile. That way I can fine tune if needed.
Overall I am extremely pleased with this first functional go.
That is really and truly awesome! In my eyes the most impressive Shave Of The Day post to date here at TOST! Folks try some wonderful products and combinations of tools to pursue their pogonotomic passions, but bringing the SE razor as well is really special. And a fully adjustable one at that! Congrats on the birth A great description of the shave too. - thnx!

Proraso Pre Shave Col. Conk Lime Shaving Soap Jayaruh #144 Schick L Personna Stainless CWR Thayer's Peach WH Barbasol AS
I started off with Proraso Pre Shave. The Col. Conk Lime Shave Soap face-lathered well with the Jayaruh #144 finest badger brush. I did the two passes with the Schick L and Personna Stainless blade and ended up with a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse, I finished off with Thayer's Peach WH and then Barbasol AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
wchnu: If I liked him more I might actually feel bad about that.
