Razorback Syn. 22mm Tabac Stick Brass General - seconds Schick Proline Type P [ 3 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off Tabac A/S Lotion
I am finding the Brass general to be much better than the original, which I can only use with a heavier handle.Even then perhaps due to balance an otherwise smooth shave is marred by it being rather harsh when working on the upper lip and chin.
The Brass version fitted with a Proline blade is very smooth and easy to use, yet it produces a very close and seemingly quick shave. On a personal basis I am not wholly sure about the handle, and would prefer one with some knurling [ brass of course ]. Though the Razor is seconds [cosmetically ] it Shaves really well.
RazoRock Plissoft 22mm P & N Spitfire ES S/S Claymore V1 Schick Proline Type P [ 16 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off Floid Vigoroso A/S lotion
Keep meaning to change the blade on this Razor, as have not yet tried it out with a Feather Pro. However, unusually for me I have developed an interest in seeing how many shaves the Schick blade will provide.
Despite my heavy beard and being on its 16th outing , the blade showed no sign of wavering. The Shave process may have slowed a bit, but it was both smooth and comfortable, and the finish equalled that of other razors wth fresher blades. Must now order some of the VG blades, and perhaps a pack of the Type B, to use in the Supply SE.
Nivea Men Face Wash Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap Heldtite Synthetic Gem 1911 Lather Catcher CVS SE CWR, Asma Alum Block Thayer's Lemon WH Florida Water AS
Mitchell's Wool Fat Shaving Soap face-lathered well with my Heldtite Synthetic brush. I did two passes with the Gem 1911 Lather Catcher with a CVS blade, and I ended up with a close, comfortable shave. This razor may well be the very best razor I have. It is so efficient and comfortable. I want to thank wchnu (Fuzzy) for hooking me up with it. After a cold water rinse and alum block, I finished off with Thayer's Lemon WH and then Florida Water AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
