Monday 8th May 2017 Prep: Shower Razor: L'Essor Blade: Ernst Scharff Rapide Brush: Vulfix / L'Occitane Plisson Soap: Vitos Extra Super Aftershave: Astral Cream (soft) EDT: L'Eau D'Issey Pour Homme Intense
An extremely smooth and comfortable Shave is afforded by the Schick I1, when fitted with a Twin Blade. So nice and close without any likelihood of mishap, would be a good choice when wanting a good shave prior to a special occassion.
RazoRock Plissoft 22mm La Toja cream Ever Ready 1914- 12 tooth Gem coated [ 5 ] Alum Rub/Rinse off La Toja A/S Lotion
My first shave in ages with the 1914 without using a Shim. Had nearly forgotten how noisy it was,and the amount of blade feel which warned you not to rush.I think the Vintage SEs require more concentration whilst shaving than their modern counterparts which to me seem a bit milder. Am pleased to say that by taking care, I was rewarded with a really nice close all round shave.
Wednesday 10th May Zenith 507 TS Lea Classic Rocnel MD SE-P-TR ½ Voskhod TC #1 Rinse > Alum > Rinse Electrif's Bay Rum Lacura Body Moisturiser
The bowl, found in a local charity shop is the perfect size for the puck of Lea classic. I really like shaving with either of my ½ DE Rocnels. Initially because I admire the ingenious head design. Like its OC cousin, a heavy razor which needs a light touch and a bit of concentration. Especially with the sharp Voskhod. Lovely smooth result, Open Comb up next.
wchnu: If I liked him more I might actually feel bad about that.
