So being that I like this product, I started a search and good ol' Google found this. AS I read this I was envisioning woodcuts of the process in those marvelous old timey butcher, I mean Surgeons theater. This was 1881 so the urban world was really stinky and then they found it a great well give it a read.. Enjoy!
Well for those of us with 'sensitive nervous organization suffering from procrastination ...or lassitude' the Florida Water effects are 'positive and marked'. I guess I'm in. : )
So....if you don't feel like mowing the lawn, just a quick spray of FW and zoom, zoom, zoom! I like.
But seriously, I didn't realize the depth of uses for Florida Water. I knew it had been around since the 1800s and I knew a little about Murray & Lanman, but I didn't realize what the potion itself was professed to do. A regular all around heal all compound from flowers. Awesome. It did find a favorable use some years later in the spooky world of ghosts and demons and such. It makes a handy air purifier when they are about, apparently.
I first turned on to Florida Water made by an Indian company, Goya. It is great stuff for me. I really love the scent. Then, figuring I was a big FW fan I overpaid for a couple of bottles of the Murray & Lanman and found I didn't like it as much. Unfortunately, the Goya one, which was sourced out of South America, is not being sold by Goya (large distributor). I am not sure if it can be purchased from South America and I hope one day I look more into it and track it down again. It is a wonderful water.
